About me

I’m Patrick Badeby, a Cloud Architect and Consultant with more than 15 years of experience in the field.

I am an independent cloud architect with a passion for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

I have a background as a lead architect and consultant, and have been in the industry since 2010.

Over the years, I have spoken at numerous conferences both in Denmark and abroad, sharing my knowledge and expertise with the community.

Citrix and NetScaler

Expert in classic Citrix and NetScaler (ADC), advising on architecture, design, and optimization of enterprise-grade application delivery and remote access solutions.

DevOps and Automation

Design and implementation of DevOps practices and automation workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and repeatable deployment strategies.

End User Computing (EUC)

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked with large enterprise customers, designing and implementing Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Nerdio solutions.

Google Cloud

Strong experience designing and implementing IaaS and PaaS services on Google Cloud, including IaC using Terraform and Pulumi.
I’ve worked with large enterprise customers on migrations, with a strong focus on security, cost control, and stable production platforms.

Hosting

I offer IT infrastructure hosting through trusted partners in both Danish and EU data centers, providing flexibility for customers with specific data residency requirements while ensuring compliance with EU regulations and GDPR.

IT Infrastructure

I specialize in IT infrastructure with a strong Microsoft focus, including Active Directory, PKI, tiering, ADFS, and SQL, along with solid experience in Linux infrastructure.

Microsoft Azure

Strong experience in designing and implementing IaaS and PaaS services, including infrastructure as code/automation using Bicep, Terraform and Pulumi, with a focus on cost optimization and security.

Modern Workplace

I help organizations design and implement Modern Workplace solutions based on Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and device management with Intune and Autopilot.
